A Hyundai excavator was selected in Top 100 Award by an American technical journal, Construction Equipment for the second consecutive year. Last year, a total of 13 7-series excavators from five-ton class to 45-ton class were selected as Top 100 Products, and this year the Hyundai R500LC-7 excavator was acclaimed with this award. The 50-ton class Hyundai R500LC-7 is the biggest excavator in the major seven-series products line designed especially for rocky mountains. Construction Equipmentáïs Top 100 Products Award honors the most significant new products introduced each year and emphasizes innovations, while highlighting manufacturers that are investing in research and development. HHI has won this award seven times. á?We chose the top 100 products after intensive review and complex assessment of 2,000 construction equipment from all around the world. Hyundaiáïs excavator is productive, efficient and comfortable to use.á? said a representative from Construction Equipment. The Hyundai R500LC-7 stands high in durability and digging work as it is fitted with a special bucket designed for rough terrains and has improved work efficiency. Also, it provides easier transportation with its adjustable track. The Construction Equipment Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has obtained the GD(Good Design) Mark from Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in 2004 and has won an award from Korea Institute of Design Promotion.
